Career Technical Education (CTE) helps our nation meet the very real and immediate challenges of economic development, student achievement, and global competitiveness. Some 14 million students are enrolled in CTE programs nationwide, encompassing every state with programs in nearly 1,300 public high schools and 1,700 two-year colleges.

The CTE programs in our member school districts provide hands-on, real-world experience for students and allow them to learn about a prospective career before they even graduate from high school. This gives them a head start in the right direction.
